Originally from India, where he grew up, Ram attended a very well regarded Military School, which he credits in part for his disciplined, resilient and charismatic nature. Once a competitive swimmer, Ram continues to thrive in competitive environments, and particularly enjoys watching cricket, rugby, and wrestling.
Ram moved to New Zealand in 2010 and is a graduate from AUT University in Auckland where he majored in Hospitality and Business Management. He has held multiple sales roles over the past 12 years, including with one of New Zealand’s most prominant retail brands where he was recognised as their top salesperson.
